Message from the Chairman,
I am very pleased to welcome you to our new website. We want to give you up to date information about what we stand for and what we are doing. Let me refresh our memory on what we are and what we stand for.
Our vision is that soon doctors and nurses will carry small wireless computers in their pockets and use them to read and enter information about their patients, their progress and treatment including electronic prescriptions and ordering of investigations. The doctors and nurses can stay in close communication as needed. The constant online connection between doctors and nurses with instant alerts and feedbacks will greatly improve the way healthcare is provided today. Our clinical solutions already today provide such alerts and feedbacks.
This vision looked very futuristic few years ago. However, arrival of new hardware and software tells us that the vision may soon become true. This is a very exciting development indeed presenting big challenges to everybody involved in the eHealth industry.
But this development also opens up lots of questions? Will this affect patient safety, how will doctors and nurses adapt to this new working environment, solution interoperability, and many more?
